What’s also nice is that in Florida the value of your home for property tax purposes can only go up 3% per year, despite inflation and actual increase in the value of your home.

the Electoral College actually works as a firewall, limiting California’s electoral crimes and corruption to this state. No matter how much they cheat, Dems in CA can only reap 54 Electoral votes. Eliminating the Electoral College would allow California - with its enormous population - to literally nullify election margins in multiple states with illegal votes.
Exactly. It also frees most of the states from having to squabble about recounts, even in a close national race. Could you imagine trying to do a full national recount?
