I saw a reference made to a meeting between (then) President Trump and Taliban representatives, in which he told them of the consequences of a takeover after the U.S. left. I believe “cruise missiles with your names on them” was part of the discussion.

And they knew he’d do it, too. Nothing to fear now, though.
