It was always going to be bad when the US pulled out of Afghanistan, everyone who wasn’t a deluded or incompetent drone knew that already, but there’s no reason it should have been this incompetently done.
So much materiel just left to be taken by the Taliban and probably examined and exploited by the Chinese.
It won’t mean much to America directly, but indirectly, it encourages and emboldens our strategic adversaries, which is much worse.
You can count on it. This will be a bloodbath if the Taliban start using AA missiles.

Trump did have a plan. It involved withdrawing our forces while we kept enough there to smash any Taliban that killed a single American while we were leaving.
Biden, on the other hand, appears to have withdrawn the military first, believing that wishing our embassy would be a safe area would make it so. Democrats really do believe that drug-free school zone signs mean there are no drugs in the school. There is no utopia on this earth.
