As a conservative, I used to respect "big-business."

Not any more. I view many of them, particular on Wall Street/finance, as partners with a massive Fed.gov and the Left to help maintain control, push a political agenda, while they are allowed line their pockets. A kind of fascism.

We are indeed in deep trouble, because to fix it means some really major, bloody and painful surgery on the nations' institutions and economy.
