Waltzing Matilda, is that like the Aussies favorite drinking song? Do you know the back story?
I always think of the song “And the Band Played ‘Waltzing Matilda’” about WWI.
Holy Mackerel
Had it occurred to you that individual Subway locations' proprietors may be the ones responsible for poor quality food experience? The several Subways near us are fine. Try not to generalize to all small businesspersons who operate Subway locations—times are hard enough for them.
So, Woke has been designated obnoxious and losers.
Subway started serving meat again? When an independent lab tested Subway ‘meat’, the ‘chicken’ was 49-50% chicken, the rest was non-animal source(s).
That DVD was one of my father’s favorite.
There used to be a Subway down the street from my office. They went out of business a couple years ago.
They certainly were not using Boar’s Head brand meats.
I used to buy ham, turkey, chicken breast and roast beef cold cuts at the deli for my lunches. I stopped buying them about six months ago. I read that most of them were full of nitrates and other chemicals. Also, bread in general is NOT good for you.
What is it that they put in bread to make it soft and preserve it for weeks?
For example, I was in Terrytown, NY in June and bought a dozen bagels from the best bagel place in Westchester County, NY. I brought them home to NH.
After about two days these bagels were as hard as a rock. After four days I could not cut them with a knife.
However, the Pepperidge Farm bagels in the cupboard that were twice as old were still soft. Is it glutan?
Obviously, the REAL bagels did not have some ingredient that the Pepperidge Farm grocery store bagels had.
I don't understand the world anymore.
I assumed that all Subway franchises got all their gold cuts from the same source. Just like their bread comes from the same recipe.
It's doubtful that there would be a single supplier of meat or other perishables for the entire nation. They may have certain standards for the products, but most national brands have multiple supply points.
Nor are the suppliers responsible for the way the perishables are stored and handled once they reach the many sites, including cleanliness routines, refrigerator and freezer temperatures, and "dispose-by" dates.
In about six hours we’ll know if Australia can do what everyone hopes and beat Rapinho et al for the bronze and send them knelling to the airport.
as a Pats fan, I think that second “commercial” is great
