We know a fairly large portion of front line medical people from the West Coast to the East coast.
These younger people in health care, mid 20’s to about 50 are mostly not vaccinated. They feel that they have had the crud and survived it and are self vaccinated.
Most of the 70+ former medical people have been vaccinated.
My wife feels that most of them under their mid 50’s are basically non political and trust no one in politics.
She is an RN in her early 80’s, and she said most of her RN and MD friends her age were conservative and non political until they retired. Then, many of them became open conservatives for the most part. A few remained apolitical.
Our newest family members working in Health Care are conservative and basically non political. They trust zero political people.
A lot of the PSAs (aka drug-pushing propaganda) is directed at blacks, with black doctors, black celebrities, black politicians etc peddling the snake oil.
Fortunately, most black folks know a scam when they see one..
They really are the worst kind of people, aren’t they?

I will give black people this….. they know damn well not to trust federal government scum, especially when it comes to you health.

Well, all of the black guys I used to work with were very familiar with the story.
And early this year, when California was pushing special access to early shots into “communities of color” the messaging could not have been worse. Most of the comments were made in a humorous fashion, but the general tenor was “Are you nuts? You want to test this out on us first? No thanks, we’ll think about it after Beverly Hills and Malibu have had their shots.”
Add to that Kamala “heels up superspreader” Harris’ oft-stated skepticism during the campaign, and it’s easy to see why there’s so much hesitancy with those demographics of Dem voters.
