And I expect the Feds to adopt a policy of blaming the unvaxxed, publicly and vociferously, for everything that goes wrong in the country henceforth.

White unvaccinated, yes. Black unvaccinated, no.

Notice the narrative that all unvaccinated are MAGA hat-wearing Trump voters, despite the truth that blacks are the largest demographic, by a long shot, of unvaccinated Americans.

Sweden was not a success. They had 10 times more death per capita than Norway. Their economy crashed hard in the second quarter last year as people simply stayed home out of fear. They didn't need to be locked down because they locked themselves down.

On the plus side Sweden kept their kids in school throughout. Their kids will be better off psychologically in the long run.

For sure. I’ll ignore any and all mandates just as I’ve done since May ... since May 2020 that is.

How Finland and Norway Proved Sweden’s Approach to COVID-19 Works

“Norway and Finland have some of the lowest COVID-19 death rates in the world, with 54 deaths per one million citizens and 66 per million respectively. This is well below the median in Europe (240 per million) and Sweden’s rate (605 per million).”

“What these critics fail to realize is that both Finland and Norway have had less restrictive policies than Sweden for the bulk of the pandemic—not more lockdowns.”

Thanks for that article. If you go to the link there, with the lockdown stringency map, drag the slider back to last March. You can see that the rest Scandanavia locked down early, then Sweden followed them. They were even through May, then in June the others unlocked a bit while Sweden stayed more locked.

What it says is that lockdowns worked during the worst part of the pandemic, when rates of death were 2-3% or more everywhere. Later, by the summer, it didn't really matter much because deaths were down to 1%. Lockdowns helped lower the deaths early on.

I’ve ignored them since April 2020.
