I’m not sure about the authenticity of the pavement quote, but IIRC I did look up the majority quote and see it in an actual homily, albeit in translation. That said, that was at least 3 years ago so my memory could be wrong.

I am neither Orthodox nor Roman Catholic, but the accept the MSM line and take the "vaccine" line from this bishop echo similar pronouncements from Protestant pastors, including evangelicals. At First Baptist, Dallas, led by a theologically conservative pastor, Dr. Jeffers, the church requires all unvaccinated people to wear masks. At Stonebriar Church in Frisco, a Dallas suburb, the pastor, Church Swindoll, announced from the pulpit that he had taken the "vaccines". At a small charismatic church in Irving, another Dallas suburb, the pastor urged his flock to take the shots.
I will criticize the liturgical churches in this matter when my fellow evangelical Protestants recognize the truth and reject the mainstream lies and propaganda.

I attend mass at a small Anglo-catholic parish and we receive both blessed elements, chalice and all.
Love it. We ain’t skeered.

"Do these Orthodox realize that many evangelicals regard their statues and icons and devotions to Mary and the saints as “idolatrous”?"
I was just discussing that with an ex-catholic about an hour ago...

(If you're conservative, you're an "extremist." If you're liberal, you're an "activist.")

I am not particularly fanatical in my Christian beliefs. But I have read the bible front tomback and enjoy studying it both as a historical document and as a religious guide book. I must have missed the part where Jesus commands us to seek out wealth, power, and influence using his name. Judging by certain denominations Jesus must have been a snappy dresser with anlot of gold.....

why are they supposed to value what evangelicals think?

And both of them are wrong. BTW, I’ve listened to Chuck since Dec. 1997 and have donated lots to his ministry and continue donating. However on the fauxines he is wrong.

To quote Dr. Zelenco Noah was a conspiracy theorist until it started to rain.

With regard to Chuck Swindoll, he has not actively promoted the “vaccines” from the pulpit. However, his public announcement that he had taken them was in effect a promotion of them. One difference between Bible churches in the Dallas Theological Seminary tradition and Baptist churches is the absence of altar calls in the former. Swindoll’s announcement was the equivalent of a non-altar call after proclaiming the need to accept the free offer of salvation.
