Decades ago I used to work 2nd shift at the factory. About the only thing to most mornings was watch game shows.
I distinctly recall watching the Gong Show when right off the bat Chuck Barris yelled “Gene Gene the Dancing Machine!”. He danced for the entire episode, with the crowd going absolutely wild the whole time. It continued on through the credits. Sure enough, the next day they continued on!
Back then they used to tape two shows at once, so it must have been an entire hour-long party. Good times.
