Incorrect. “Gene Stiller” is a noun. “Him” is a pronoun. That’s why it’s done differently.
Idiomatic expressions are exceptions to many rules. For instance, you would say, “They beat him up” but not “they beat up him.” Or, that car looks beat up,” but not “that beat up car looks,” Idioms require precise knowledge of a language. They’re always challenging in a foreign language class.

We lived in the older apartments just up the hill from the Post apartments when I got of the Air Force. That was before the Post apartments had been built. I never thought to question your bona fides. I was only seconding what you had said.
