I believe in literal 7 day creation.

Except that you believe those days happened over billions of years.

You presume to tell me what I believe?

I believe you are a Pharisee.

No, you already told us.

According to the scientifically tested Twin Paradox concept, a twin who gets into a spaceship and travels for a year at light speed will return to his twin brother on earth who would have aged 100 years.

It was verified by accelerating subatomic particles which last a few milliseconds, at light speed they last thousands of times longer.

When God breathed out the universe and zipped around at FASTER than light speed, to Him it was 7 days but from the perspective of someone on the earth it woulda been 14 billion years.

It was a 6 day creation, actually.

Yes, I know that, as I have always stated...

To: chuckles

There was no death before sin. That means a literal creation week (6 days). That also means no eons, no billions of years, no monkeys evolving into humans, no single cell organisms living, then dying, etc... The word of God clearly states that the earth was created in 6 literal days. No death before Adam and Eve sinned.

Again, you are correct.

It is Kevmo that mixes up 6 and 7 days of creation. But, when you are talking billions of years like he does, it's easy to get confused. I suppose I'll give him the benefit of the doubt anyway. I don't want to "PRESUME what he believes."

Hey…just a memory here…. In the 1980s I was undergrad and MS in nuclear engineering when Pons and Fleischman did their first work….

I don’t do much nuclear now (mostly mechanical stuff) but your posts have been diligent and necessary…

Bwest, PhD, pure mathematics.
Christian.

It’s figurative.

That requires interpretation.
So I’m right.

You might consider pinging Wonder Warthog to be added to the Cold Fusion Ping List.

The handbreadth thickness in the measure is non-zero and non-figurative.

The basin has more than two dimensional specifications.

How big is a handbreadth?

I’m not sure… I’ve got a few plates spinning right now.

What do you think the answer is?

PS I think Solomon and Hiram of Tyre knew pi at least as well as the people around them e.g. the Babylonians.

It doesn’t matter. To achieve a Biblical calculation of pi, assumptions must be made.
Which is fine. And it’s further evidence that the Bible is figurative.

Several ancient civilizations understood the significance of pi. It’s the Bible whose definition requires assumptions.

Jesus God incarnate and died for our sins:

Bwest: Nah, that’s just figurative.

Logic isn’t your strong point, is it?
Your accusation is actually a nifty blend of at least 2 logical fallacies: slippery slope AND appeal to (self) authority.
Keep it up! You continue to make my point even better than I did.
