That’s a very good point. One of the most corrupt election systems anywhere.
If Best Buy catches the thief and has them arrested, it is only a misdemeanor. All these thiefs do is not show up for the court trial, wasting everybody’s money to prosecute the case.
In these times, the state legislatures should drop the $950 limit for misdemeanors to $100 and increase the bail amount to $150,000 (the amount they make for a year of drug selling).
I would find out who they are peddling the stolen items to. Whoever are the fences, have them charged with multi-count felonies and put them away for a long long time.
I was thinking, why not put tracking devices in the purses and watch where they go. If they are at a home, have a search warrant at the door at 4 AM with SWAT locked and loaded.
Looters were captured on video.
Will they be arrested bookie say not a chance never bet on anything that you can get away with while by not being white.
I agree. I used to say as I drove from Connecticut into NYC on the South Bronx Expressway that if those folks could ever get out of the ghetto and drive 30-40 minutes north and see how the rich white folks live, there would be the biggest riots we would ever see.
Reaping what they sowed.
I don’t know, but it’s a good question.
I’d guess that stealing from a private individual would draw a heavier sentence, but possibly from additional charges—breaking and entering maybe. Also, DA’s and Judges, wanting to stay in the voters’ good graces would impose stiffer sentences.
After seeing the video I’m thinking this could be just one big family. They all kind of looked alike.
