Did you miss the years he worked as an attorney prior to the senate?

Educate yourself. THEN comment.

I think this stuff about “Canadian Cruz” is baloney, he’s no more Canadian than anyone else living in the U.S.A. and reading this. His time in Canada seems to have had no liberalizing effect in the same way as Kamala Harris who grew up in Montreal. Calgary FYI in the time when Ted was there was as conservative and pro-American a place as you could find in Canada (the h.q. of the Canadian oil industry). That was then, this is now, and Calgary has shifted a bit to the left like most Canadian cities.

So if it’s Ted Cruz vs a number of swamp creatures, take Cruz and overlook the Canadian aspect, you could do far worse than Ted Cruz. He likely wouldn’t oppose Donald Trump and would make a great vice presidential choice if de Santis is not available.

Cue to the left: start talking about his eligibility for office like they did when he was in the running last time. Not a word about bammy’s or harris’s eligibility. Anyone who posts about their eligibility will be banned.

Leave DeSantis alone. He belongs to Florida. Go get you own DeSantis. Leave ours alone.

“Leave DeSantis alone. He belongs to Florida. Go get you own DeSantis. Leave ours alone.”

No problem. Every time I vote for a governor, I get a Kate Brown type instead.

I’m supporting Trump in 2024, not DiSantis BTW.

I’m hoping DiSantis rolls in his re-election campaign in 2022. I’ll probably send him some cash sometime next year.

I was pointing to the Trump/Desantis Ticket that I keep seeing proposed. Sorry about your Kate Brown experiences. I feel for those out west suffering under communism.

We obviously can't be sure what kind of health President Trump will enjoy two years from now. If,by chance, his health doesn't allow another run DeSantis and Cruz would be among the most credible candidates.
