That’s because it is All done by the government(s).
They are trying to have the national guard and our military turned into “policing”/law “enforcement”/etc. all these years and continuing.
ALL being orchestrated/carried out/etc. by the EVIL CIA/federal government/etc. What they are REALLY practicing for is to make sure all their buttons and switches are working “correctly” to shut down ALL utilities, gas, electronics, etc. down simultaneously, in regions, intermittently, etc.
Yes they can, I GUARANTEE all the EVILS have assured that.
ALL these things pre-planned starting years ago.
“So another words, that’s about to happen. Before 911 they were wargaming hijacked airliners. Before coronavirus they were wargaming a coronavirus outbreak and lockdown. So this is their next plan to unleash on us?”
Yes, this and all other are/were ALL orchestrated, etc. before they were carried out etc.
“start running the buses full of shackled Christians and Conservatives to the concentration camps.”
That is their intent, and then they will ALL be mass murdered by the CIA/federal government/etc.
Your first sentence in your tagline is VERY unfortunately absolutely what they have planned/VERY SOON.
Arguably they have already colonized it. Their plan within a few years is to replace our population with theirs.
Next time, they'll hire Chinese, Russian, North Korean, and Iranian hackers to run the "test".
“Why invade... China or Russia could shut down our grid or water processing plants and 90% of us would be dead in a year, 98% in 2 years.”
Now that they’ve killed-off our elderly for practice, Covid-23 can kill off our youngest generation.
Why is our grid even tied to the internet in the first place? I can think of no good reason why turning on and off generators, or the flow of fuel to them, either needs to be OR SHOULD BE connected to outside sources. This should be a completely separated - like with triply redundant safeguards - system. Other systems that tell the utility’s HUMAN managers how much power is needed at any given time, which need connectivity, should be utterly separate.
We have been incredibly stupid in trying to maximize efficiency (such as with JIT systems for consumer goods and even wholesale supplies) at the expense of robustness in the system. This is BOTH at the corporate level and the national government level. Frankly, the Feds should require separate systems and layers of redundancy to prevent just such a disaster as the NG just simulated. We would do a lot better with a couple of percent less efficiency, but guarantees that the power and water will flow, critical goods will be produced and delivered, etc. I would hope that the recent spate of cyberattacks and the results of this exercise will wake people the F up, because an incredible disaster awaits us in the NEAR TERM future is we don’t change things fast. Just imagine if China invades Taiwan (which produces a majority of the world’s integrated circuits - talk about a chokehold on Western economies!), and accompanies it with an attack on our electric and water grids from dozens of sites not readily attributed to them. The chaos that we would face here would make any effective response to that invasion nearly impossible - even in the best of circumstances, with a POTUS and administration actually dedicated to containing China and protecting this nation (and we CLEARLY don’t have those circumstances at present).
How utterly stupid we’ve been! Rome took hundreds of years to self-destruct because of internal fools and traitors, but we’re doing it in a matter of a couple of decades, aided and abetted by the asinine notion that efficiency rather than reliability is important for one of the most critical components of our society.
I’m not sure the death rate would be that high. I’m sure the cities would be really hit hard. Personally I won’t miss the Democrats. Country boy will survive.
> the damage that would be done to their economies would
> be equally devastating over time.
What if China were to provide humanitarian assistance for any survivors in return for a little support & compensation? What if they were to cherry pick the best engineers and offer them cushy positions in wealthy China? What if they were to just rape, pillage and enslave the survivors once the sieges have sufficiently weakened the defenders...? Inquiring minds want to know... ;-)
The CCP has already shown they don’t care whether or not they damage the world’s economy, as long as no one else gains an advantage over them. They were enraged to be the primary sufferers of bird flu and swine flu - that is why they allowed the current pandemic to spread past their borders without warning us. Remember: they prevented travel from within the afflicted province to other locations within China, but they ALLOWED those same people to travel OUTSIDE of their borders!
The MAD doctrine has no sway over these people. You just need to have a deeper appreciation for, and understanding of, their callous, immoral and pathological mindset.
True!
:-D
Something like that might actually work: a few religions have really weak foundations (those that are built on falsehoods to begin with), so their blind zealots are easily convinced of false messages from false gods.
Far be it for me to defend someone who got into office based on fraud, but indulge me and let me play devil’s advocate for a moment, please.
What if the message is simpler - something along the lines of: “OK, we’ve tolerated attacks up to this point because we want to protect methods and sources. But if you attack this critical infrastructure, we will declare war and potentially launch a nuclear and kinetic response.”
That’s exercising deterrence, right?
Far more effective and to the point to issue a statement like this:
"Messing with any of our infrastructure will be considered a casus belli of the same order as other weapons of mass destruction for which there will be an immediate counterstrike to the personal political leadership instigating such an attack."
So the nature of the attack is clearly identified, with perhaps reference to the Geneva Convention with regard to mass civilian attacks as war crimes, while leaving the list of critical infrastructure open to additions and/or amendments.
One always wants the opposition guessing....and yeah, it's personal.
> Why is our grid even tied to the internet in the first place?
There is a real need to coordinate between power generation systems to monitor loads, shunt loads, bring online or ramp down supply.
Part of the reason for leveraging the Internet is ease of use: people want to be able to monitor stuff from their cell phones, etc... It’s not always easy to leverage existing power cables for communication in certain situations; sometimes there’s signal noise; it’s not always easy, not always cheap to install and maintain extra cables for the entire length of the delivery system when those might be needed. And there are all these cheap, convenient, existing cables, generally called the Internet. The argument goes: if an attacker can hack the Internet, couldn’t they also hack the power system cables too even if those were separate?
The power companies imagine that with the right hardware and software in place that the connections can all be controlled. But intrinsic software complexity, chaos theory and Chinese manufacturing all conspire against them; they know the concepts, still they fail to truly acknowledge them.
All it takes is ONE weak point, or an insider who opens the gates. Presumably THIS IS THE REASON someone with good judgment took the time to write the article; I must say though it’s shocking that the public media can actually still accomplish something good, these days.
:-D
Point made.
But we’re talking the Democrats and President Biden here...? ;-)
They don't need to hire them. The Chinese, Russians, North Koreans and Iranians already have the code that was used to run the simulation that brought down our infrastructure because Biden made sure it was given to them so they know not to attack us that way. (re: Biden giving Putin a list of targets not to attack "or else.:)
They're working on productionalizing it and using it against us as I type. We are so eff'd.
