Gordon makes a great point about how if Dong WERE in China, they’d be parading him around. And, they aren’t.

Defectors need to be handled carefully and with caution. One never knows who is a double agent. So the US doesn’t trust this guy very much, and we will hear little from official Washington as to his status and whereabouts. Chang is probably about the best source we can expect.

Biden will need to confirm the defection. If that happens, he will be asked whether he believes this is a good thing. If he doesn’t immefiately say, Hell Yes!, then we’ll know Biden is in bed with the CCP.

If we finally find out for sure that this defection did in fact take place, but that news comes from a source other than the Biden administration, this will similarly be a sure sign of a Biden/CCP axis.

Under this law, once entities been designated by the government, they're required to watch for and prevent foreign espionage activity. They must “vet and train personnel, particularly ahead of foreign trips, after which they must be debriefed about any national security issues.” This law treats even universities and private businesses as if they’re “sensitive government agencies.”
