He has a $90,000 pensions, thanks to being VP. If you include that he probably didn’t spend much during his time as VP, so he could save most of his income, and they he would have made a decent down payment from the sale of his other house
This seems doable to me.

I wonder if Biden and the Federal government will start building those low income housing projects in his neighborhood.

Yep, check cleared. No one needs a house that size unless. It’s nothing but pomp and circumstance and look at MEEEEEEE!!! Bet after five years, there will be rooms he never entered. Who has the larger carbon footprint, Pence or Kerry?

Ooo.. Car-Mel… by the corn. Or, it used to be. They bulldozed all the cornfields and pastures into office complexes and condos. And roundabouts, which make for nice twisties on the bike.
It’s no longer the one stoplight town it used to be.

My youngest son lives in an apartment complex in Carmel. It’s overpriced.

$1.93 million buys a 7-bedroom, 7 1/2-bath house in Carmel, Indiana. In Carmel, California, what would that buy? A 3-bedroom, 1 1/2-bath house?

The fact that this is far away from the Swamp, and “only” a couple of million dollars certainly improves the image I have of Pence. He seems to be avoiding the Swamp Culture of most other politicians from there.

Carmel is really nice. Don't know about its politics but if I was going to leave the coast for middle America, Carmel might be a contender.
