Blech. My Mom still uses margarine in everything, but I refuse - it’s butter all the way. Our bodies are used to animal fats, not so much the vegetable oils used in margarine. Plus, it tastes terrible.
I never used margarine for baking. Ever. Gross.
The doctor says she doesn’t have Alzheimer’s, he’s been treating her for the last 6 years or so.
Few people could afford that - I was just doing the math.
I could put up with my wife's Alzheimer's delusions, hallucinations and drift into insanity.
What made me put her in a Nursing Home where I visit her 3 days a week, is she lost bowel control and messed in her pants in pubic and in the car, and it also spread into our bed at night. I couldn't get her back on track.
Somewhere along line the caretaker is going to fall asleep, or need to go to the bathroom, or answer an important phone call or otherwise get distracted. This can lead to a very bad outcome for the Alzheimer's victim. Especially if the Alzheimer's patient has mobility. -Tom
Well right now I am able to take care of her, and she gets to stay in her own environment in her daily routine. As long as I can do that I don’t mind anything that happens. Thanks for your insight on this.
