“Total dead and displaced unknown:
36 total; 26 black and 10 white dead (1921 records)”
That’s not much more than your typical weekend in south Chicago.
Deduct the total cost of all the set-asides, section 8s, welfare, and other social programs from the projected amount of reparations. Then deduct the estimated cost of black crime over the past 70 years. Pay out what is left to black FAMILIES whose members do not have any criminal records and have been self-sufficient rather than dependent.
As tragic are the deaths surrounding the Tulsa massacre, I would not say that that’s the worst chapter of forced death in American History.
The deaths that occurred when civilized Indian tribes were forced from their homes in Georgia and marched to Oklahoma, in what is known as the Trail of Tears, resulted in THOUSANDS dying on the way, and shortly thereafter from disease.
These Indians were not nomad warlike savages. They were civilized and lived peaceably in their communities.
Forcing them from their homes was American racism at it’s worst.

The Reparations should come, and come from the State of Oklahoma. This Massacre was a real shit stain.
Quite a stain. White Supremacy (Over Blacks specifically) was a very real thing in the 1920’s.
