As a Trades Supervisor I advocated for a minimum 2 year probation period (the existing one was just 6 months), written and practical tests appropriate for the the specific trade, and minimum passing grades of 90%.

Needless to say the company (a school district) rejected my proposals for a more professional work force.

this will hurt everybody but those talented blacks who study hard and do good in school will be lumped in with other blacks that could care less.....

we're truly on our own....when you go to the doctor, better quiz him first...same with your lawyer or dentist or accountant...you want to know if they have any smarts or just muddled thru...
