What went wrong were 8 years of 0bama who slashed their budget to pennies on the dollar so we are basically just beginning to catch up ... and along comes Traitor Joe slashing their budget once again - they cannot win.

With wokeism having contaminated our military not sure how effective or responsive our deterrence is now. Its really reached a dangerous level of weakness that is an invitation to challenge us.
Our political leadership is a joke. Biden and Harris wouldn’t know what to do in the event of a crisis. They are bumbling fools and neither is capable of taking bold and decisive action IMO.
It’s hard to accept but the fact of the matter is that this once great nation and military power is declining and vulnerable right now.

And even harder when there are unnecessary distractions that interfere with our national readiness. The only things we seem to be ready for are feel good initiatives like wokeism, political correctness and gender dysphoria.

We don’t watch mainstream news - but I can imagine a certain amount of gloating by the MS news orgs over “another failure” by our military (even if as others have said that the military may be engaging in some phys-ops with the release of this “news”).
It reminds me of a movie we watched the other night - ‘The Pledge’ starring Jack Nicholson (with a good number of other “stars”).
Anyway, the trailer looked decent, so we thought we’d give it a try.
Spoiler Alert (kinda): in the end the movie was simply a sideways swipe at the police - basically that cops are incompetent and by the time they retire, unprincipled, crazed alcoholics.
Our rating: zero stars.
Still undecided? The movie was directed by Sean Penn.

There is actually a video game based on that one war-game scenario that showed a mass of small, fast Iranian boats destroying US carriers. The Navy told the guy who designed the scenario to tweak it until it showed a different result.
