No one is allowed to make any kind of defense of a person in a grand jury. It is a one-man show featuring the prosecutor. There were good reasons for this once upon a time, now it’s being abused for political witch hunts.

Maybe you’re right. But maybe Trump being shown on TV walking out in handcuffs in a pre-dawn raid is just...different.

I see no prohibition for someone to run for President who has been indicted in a case brought by political enemies. If anything , I see support rising for DJT.

There are people here who literally believe the last real President prior to Trump to hold the office was Ulysses S. Grant. The rest have merely been presiding over the “corporation” of the United States, rather than actually being the U.S. President.
So they’ll get their indictment.

There is an old saying that in a grand jury setting a prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich. Its a cute saying but also true.
