Trump has shown he is not a fighter

As opposed to YOU, who cut taxes, cut regulations, reworked complex international trade deals, built hundreds of miles of wall, moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, brokered the Abraham Accords, got America out of the Paris Accords and the Iran Deal, created a new military branch, held the left at bay in a hundred ways, along with several thousand daily accomplishments of yours for which there is not enough space to list.

If Trump wasn’t being protected by the military he would already be dead. So no he’s not going to be arrested.

Why do you keep saying Trump is being protected by the Military?

I have never seen anything about that.

Why would the Military be protecting Trump?

Trump's biggest weakness is that he believed that the country's institutions were still functioning and not corrupt. He held onto the mid-century consensus view about the bureaucracy without ever truly grasping how corrupt the FBI, DOJ, State, etc., had become, and as a consequence, was never able to get control of the Federal government.

The bureaucrats undermined his administration constantly with everything from the fraudulent and criminal Russia investigations to feeding Trump and the NSC false information about troop levels. This failure crippled his administration.

That said, he was the best President since Reagan, and took the fight to America's internal enemies as much as he was able to do given his blinkered understanding of how deep the rot is. Should he win again (or another fighter), whoever is President needs to form an alternative government structure that can fight (and indict) the putschists inside the regime.

Ah, what a nice Spring Day. All it needed was some claims being represented as fact without a shred of evidence.

In other words, more 'jackassin!

“The goal is to cripple or destroy the only thing in this world he values; The Trump Organization.”

BS. Trump also values this country or he would have never got into politics.

Since the statute of limitations has expired, DeSantis could deny the extradition request.

You are absolutely correct.

Reagan made the same mistake, but things are 100 times worse today.

we have always been chasing many steps behind the deterioriation of our society,

like the movies where the ground is collapsing behind our heroes and they are keeping just ahead of the collapsing land driving fast.

Except that in our case the collapse is faster than we are moving.

And the reason is that institutions are staffed by human beings drawn from a society that is deteriorating.

We cannot hope that the institutions will be superior to the disintegrating society from which their personnel is drawn.

There is nothing & no one to stop them...

As the dentist says before a root canal, “Relax... It will be over before you know it...”

A few more stim-money payments (like the dentist’s Novocain injection) and the the sheeple will continue to remain blissfully compliant...

Trump and the military are waiting until no offense but until you and a majority of people wake up enough so that this insanity will never be allowed to happen again.

True, but it would make running for President in 2024 kind of hard.

Signing an Executive Order ≠ Lasting Institutional Change.

Did Trump remake the military like Obama did eight years before? Did he remake the FBI with wholesale changes from top to bottom? No. In fact, he picked someone to as his FBI director who was friends and law partners with SALLY YATES for a decades.

Did he clean up CIA, NSA or any of the intelligence agencies that spied on his campaign and supporters? Did he get ANY landmark legislation enacted that would have endured past his tenure like Obama did with Obamacare?

Did he pick an Attorney General who collected scalps and sent a message? No. The only person who was prosecuted for the spying fiasco was a low-level line lawyer who recieved a slap on the wrist. Did he reform the statutory law that enabled Obama et al. to spy on him?

The answer to all these questions is NO and it’s no because Trump, without any experience in government at any level had no idea how it worked much less how to effect lasting change. As I said, he had all the right ideas but none of the expertise required to enact those ideas and he surrounded himself with people who didn’t share his world view.

Who’s really jackassin?

For starters, I’d say the FReeper that posted that military tribunals are occurring in the White House, without a shred of evidence.

As opposed to saying the tribunals are happening without a shred of evidence?
