Jeff Sessions was a US Senator for 20-years and prior to that, a AUSA for almost 13-years. If he didn’t understand the depth and perversity of the opponents, then he was a moron.
I think he was a moron who was wholly unqualified to do the job much less effect lasting change at a government institution ossified with progressive groupthink.
This is what the mainstream media is dreaming of for ratings.
I wonder if DJT is watched at all times, like a stake-out scenario in which they are waiting for orders to move in to arrest him. I bet the media is aware of every move so they can be there if it happens.
Or....they’ll wait and arrest him while he is speaking at one of his events this summer?
The goal isn’t to jail Trump. The goal is to cripple or destroy the only thing in this world he values; The Trump Organization. They want to destroy his company and his brand.
Thank you, when a prosecutor investigates a company, that does not mean the owner is arrested. If the company is in trouble, it is not the owner of the company, but the COE that has to testify. Every time Apple has gotten into trouble, it was Cook that had to testify, not Jobs (deceased now)
I don’t know about Sessions, given his history, but Trump, definitely, and understandably, as I doubt ANY of us had any clue as to how rotten things had gotten in DC.
Right, but Apple has never been investigated (to my knowledge) for financial impropriety. Instead, their issues have largely been competitive - or more accurately, anti-competitive - in nature.
When financial improprieties are being investigated, anyone who signed the financials - quarterly and annually - are the ones under the gun. This is why it was Worldcom’s CEO Ebbers and Enron’s Chairman, CEO and CFO who all ended up in prison.
It did not have to be uncovered. It was right there in plain sight in the open for anyone to see if they only looked. It was no secret. they triple dog dared the Republicans to to something about it. And the Republican Party answered the challenge a/l/a, Vice President Mike, Judas Iscariot, Pence, Etal. They aided and abetted in the fraud by certifying the Election as Legitimate. Thus violating the Solomon Oath they had placed their hand upon a copy of the Holy Bible and swore before God that they would “Defend the Constitution.......” instead they shredded it.

Trump’s attorneys could file a MOTION TO QUASH the indictment and any arrest warrant, especially on the basis that the statute of limitation has expired.
Even an indictment of the company could be quashed because the statute of limitations has expired.
NOW, watch Trump’s lawyers like Sidney Powell’s lawyers to give a ham-fisted, foot in the wash pail statement that makes Trump sound GUILTY even while dismissing the indictment.
The motion to quash under the State of Limitations cannot be worded so that it sounds like, well, sure we’re guilty, but nya, na, nya, nya you just waited too long.
It has to be worded to expose the outrageous falsehood of the charges, AND ALSO the statute of limitations has expired as well.
They do that and elections will be the least of their problems. That’s my prediction.

That depends on the context. It is not automatically so.
If a real estate appraiser finds that a building is worth $50 million, and Trump signs the paper, he is believing what the appraiser certified.
There has to be more to it behind the scenes to make the person signing the document guilty. He has to know that the information is false.

While I personally wouldn’t consider doing anything ‘violent’, nor would I encourage it, Trump does have millions of supporters willing to crawl on glass for him...so I don’t think people should be surprised if an arrest attempt doesn’t go quite as smoothly as hoped.

The theft of 18 objects of Giuliani’s, that doubtless contain his whole defense of a former president in a personal case, is an atrocious act of overreach and theft by our federal government.
The end game is to arrest Trump so they can have a booking photo. If they could get jail time, they’d consider that gravy.
