Why is it so difficult for you to understand that no one is forcing you to do anything?
There is nothing wrong with you not wanting the vaccine. The problem is the false and misleading arguments about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine.

I’m not. I am opposed to claims that HCQ, etc., can cure the virus.

"I will stipulate that I have an incomplete data set as you indicated because of my practice, I see late stage patients who are critically ill. I have had some...etc. etc."

This statement by gas_dr is as commendable and honorable a thing as I have ever read on this site.

Hats off to you sir! With God's help I hope to follow your fine example, and I trust you take the recent ugliness directed at you in stride.

Nonsense.

The Delhi curve is EXACTLY like every other surge curve. 20-30% susceptible (“dry tinder”), maxes out with natural resistance and avoidance, new susceptibles arise by means not yet understood.

Every other surge ends in the identical manner with no Ivermectin.

Granted, one problem using reported case and mortality rates is that it’s impossible to ascribe causation, and one can even argue that the apparent correlation is just the normal course of things.

That said, there is a temporal correlation, and when one steps back and looks at other locations (eg areas in Mexico that use widespread and early treatment, and Tamil Nadu in India that does not) a seeming pattern emerges. It could be nothing, but it’s worth keeping an open mind given the stakes and lack of other options in these places.

Thanks, that makes sense.

It certainly would be a mistake to ignore the monoclonals, but even though availability is improving in the US, they are not at present a viable option in the third world. We need something, and one hopes that Marik et al. have found it.

Agree that there’s not much reason to think that ivm would be efficacious in late stage disease, and it seems that even the telegenic Dr. Kory emphasizes its use during the viral stage and as prophylaxis, though he claims that there are anecdotal reports suggesting it can help in later stages as well.

Thanks for the reply.

“ why should anyone believe anything you say???.”

Because he has a lot of real world experience and he knows what he’s talking about?

If Invermectin works, then there is no need for an emergency use authorization anymore, since there is no emergency if a viable treatment exists.

That’s certainly been the suspicion, not only about ivm, but also early-use HCQ, which has shown to be effective when used during the viral state of the Wuhan flu.

My own belief at this point is that the powers that be certain have been suppressing any potential therapeutic for exactly the reason you posit, but in addition the big pharma novel therapeutics are also in competition with the cheap, existing and known safe drugs (ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, fluvoxamine, cyproheptadine etc.)

There is more than enough money and power at stake to provide motive. That should not prevent the very well justified outrage that the “powers that be” would sacrifice 3.5 million human beings to a miserable and early death.
