Don't make stuff up. Murkowski had zero assistance from the GOP in that 2010 race after she lost the nomination. Miller had zero campaign - the NRSC was pretty much all he had helping him in that race, and he self destructed by having his personal security hand cuff and arrest reporters, totally losing his temper in public creating horrible video on the news for Murkowski to use in ads, etc.
There is no longer a party primary in Alaska.
The key figure is Nancy Pelosi who:
Is in charge of Capital Hill Police.
Told the police to stand down
Ignored calls for help from the few police that are still sane
Ignored Trumps request to get security beefed up.
