Use of “f***ing” as an adjective in almost every sentence displays extreme inarticulateness. Shouldn’t journalists be among the most articulate? (Of course I agree with his sentiments.)

According to a multitude of comments from well-known comedians, there is no real comedy 'tour' running today. Even before COVID, there was / is ample evidence that comedy has no place in our fractious culture. The 'Late Night' TV Shows which used to groom such now devote their time to telling unfunny Trump 'jokes'. The evergreen college circuit is now a minefield not worth hazarding.

So if a Carlin-stature comedian were to try, he/she likely would so damage their career as to never even try. A sad sign of these times!
