So you prefer no gas available to high prices. Got it.
priceless six pack and a free lesson.
Yea, I get it. Example for ya.
During hurricane Ike, power was out, water source unreliable, food stores lay bare.
Price gouging began. $99 bucks for a case of water that typically cost $2.50.
Standing in a line with several other people at a liqueur store who still had about 20 bags of ice left when other stores were out. The first couple of people purchased 2 bags each. The next dude said...I will buy them all, leaving the others in line behind him with none at all even though a couple of bags for each was possible.
That dude became very unpopular very quick. After a conversation with the others in line behind him...he changed his mind. It was a good thing he decided to see the err of his ways. Would not have turned out well for him.
This @$$ had every right to purchase the remainder of the ice, leaving those in line without. The fellas behind him had every right to kick him to the curb and leave him without ice while distributing it evenly among those in line.
In an emergency, folks need to look out for one another. Price gouging is wrong regardless of “free market” principals. It is a time of hardship.
People seeking to profiteer during a crisis or emergency are certainly free to do so. That is their right. It doesn’t shield them from the consequences of their greed.
Free market principals are just fine...it is immoral to price gouge or profiteer during an emergency. Just my take.
Everyone who’s woke enough to own an electric vehicle should be forced to go completely off gird and forced to pay a monthly fee if they use a “public charging station”.
They’re all Green, after all. Why not make them rely completely on renewables to prove how Green and smart they really are.
Some of the most hypocritical, self righteous, morons on the planet.
Artificial intentionally created shortage to serve a political agenda.
A mere 125 days ago supply was everywhere. What happened?
Someone’s plan happened.
