If it weren’t that, it would have been something else. The Democrats are in bed with the Iranians. There was a poster from World War II. I don’t recall the artwork, but the verbiage went, “Any excuse to a Nazi is excuse enough.” Any reason to a Democrat is reason enough. In any conflict, over anything, be it economic, political or theological, there are always at least two sides. If the Republicans own one side, the Democrats will seek out and merge with the other side. Remember, to a Democrat there is no such thing as right or wrong, ethical or unethical. To be on the opposite side of either Republicans or Americans, is enough to make it “their” right side. (This is why they say things like, “my truth,” rather than, “the truth.)
