“We’re going to trust our immune systems for this COVID coronavirus since it seems to be working so well for everything else.”

I haven’t gotten it, it’s been over a year. I don’t mask unless I absolutely have to. I go out to diner, I walk in the park, I golf, my life is only minorly impacted by this crap.

The odd thing is, herd immunity used to be 60% immune, but now, they’re saying 80%, but they are pushing as if only 100% will do it. As if covid is as dangerous as the plague.

Not sure of the motivations, but I know this doesn’t add up.

some people are running around like chicken little screeching “we’re all gonna die” while other people are arguing about the vaccine...

meanwhile our country is being taken over by communists while people are too preoccupied to notice or care...

this has diversion tactic written all over it...

I've been around the block too many times to know that I don't need some Biden White House advisor to tell me how to live my life.

With the exception of a couple of small things we couldn't avoid, our lives have not been changed by this so-called viral pandemic nor what the government tells us is is true or not.

We're intelligent, seasoned adults who can see for ourselves. And make our own choices in life.

No vaccines here and living life like we always have.

Funny, I just saw a clip last night on the news where WHO is saying even fully vaccinated are at high risk of getting covid in crowds over forty people.

I have a friend who is a bartender in one of the casinos. Last week there was a crew that showed up at the casino, set up somewhere in the employee lounge area, and was doing vaccines. Most of the employees who hadn’t been vaccinated relented and got it. He did too. Simply because eventually they expect it to be a condition of employment. But yeah, they’re still wearing masks for all their shifts.

Same here.
The MAIN differences:
1) Following the EVMS prophylactic protocol
2) Regular bloodwork to verify supplement levels(esp. Vit D)
3) Employer is WFH every other week so 26 weeks of the year I save 230 miles of commute/fuel costs(46 miles round trip per day).

Texas has a low vaccine rate and is already back to a 2019 life style except for enclaves of refugees from deep red states who want to do it like they did back home.

My wife and I are retired in our mid-70s and live on a farm raising beef cattle in rural Florida.

We don't do anything differently than we did before 2020. Neither of us have ever tested for the virus or know anybody who has ever had it or died from it.

We don't wear masks (except both of us have had to wear one once or twice now when going to the VA in the big city for routine medical appointments), social distance or stay in lockdowns. We freely travel and shop where we want with no problems. And we are not getting the vaccine.

Our adopted three year old granddaughter, who lives with us full time, is supposed to wear a mask at her little elementary school in the big city but her teacher tells us that none of the young kids do very well about keeping them on during the day. They're toddlers and toddlers are notorious for doing what they want. Or I should say, not doing what they are supposed to be doing. So the teacher doesn't enforce the mask rule, she tells us, because she would get nothing else done at school except chasing the kids down about wearing their masks properly. We don't send her to school to learn to wear a mask properly but to learn her ABCs and numbers, etc.

Those are the only two exceptions to the mandates that we've had to succumb to.

The county commissioners have mandated masks to cover, not their faces, but their liability butts. The grocery store, the drugstore, the hardware store and the BBQ diner here in our small town do not enforce customers wearing masks.

Why? Because in their infinite wisdom, the lay commissioners can impose fines on the businesses if their employees are caught not wearing masks, but they can't impose any penalties on their customers. So guess what? Human nature says that if you are not going to suffer any fines for not wearing a mask, most people won't wear one. And they don't. So what you end up having is businesses who require their employees to wear masks but their customers don't. Makes no sense whatsoever.

My wife and I obviously work outside on the farm, so we get plenty of sunshine and we don't worry about getting enough vitamin D.

And I have no idea what the EVMS prophylactic protocol is, so ignorance is bliss.

But to have some White House ass wipe tell us life will go back to normal again soon if we've been vaccinated, is BS. Life has always been at our discretion and fate and not the government's.

I’ve said it before. I’m not an anti vaxxer, but the push to get EVERYONE vaccinated just seems overly aggressive.

Exactly. Because of my Navy-brat upbringing and some interesting places I’ve worked, I have been a human pincushion. I’ve even had the anthrax shot series. I am in no way anti-vax.

But I tend not to trust *anything* the government pushes this zealously.

Peer pressure and the desire to travel, I guess.

Yep, that's what sells the vaccine. Peer pressure is a huge factor.

In short, they make the common street hooker look like angels.

We should legalize whoring and criminalize con-gre$$ing.
