Lockdowns are the excuse for dictatorship. Whoever is in charge now a days will continue them with fauci the fraud leading the charge.
I was out and about today. Some people were wearing masks, some weren’t, many had one side dropped so their noses and mouths were out in the open.
Why isn’t China being held accountable and responsible for the murder of citizens of the world and the economic devastation.
I read that book by Kuhn. It was interesting. Noted how some saw sparks emanate from certain substances which could not be explained.
There’s still gas lighting, fearmongering and censorship to contend with. But the more Fauci is left speechless by facts, the happier I feel.
You do not quarantine healthy people.
You quarantine sick people.
Simply put, that is why lockdowns didn't work.
Governors, especially totalitarian leaning blue state governors, locked down everyone and negated the purpose of the lockdowns to begin with.
Simply put, this is why you don't have lay politicians managing a viral pandemic.
Lockdowns were forced on us by Communist China. We were subjected to propaganda early on, showing people walking down the street falling down. Etc. China needed lockdowns to stop the protest that had been going on for two or three months in Wuhan and the ones in Hong Kong that had been rapidly gaining traction and threatened to spread to main land cities.
Western governments followed because it was a good way to remove Trump, watch the great reset, and they could not be seen as being less concerned when the Chinese were welding people inside their apartments.
This was a Chinese communist solution that our government and industry were more than happy to embrace, to get China Inc. back on track and get rid of Trump. Resist!
I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has been “locked down”.
Throughout this whole mess I’ve gone where ever I want when ever I want.

The problem with this analysis is that the author assumes that the Lockdown paradigm is driven by science. It is not. It’s driven by superstition. Superstition cannot be refuted with logic. The only thing that works is ridicule.
unfortunately in Southern California, the Cult of the Mask is alive and well. Everywhere, you see people walking alone on the street wearing masks. You still have to wear a mask inside most shops, and if you pull it down to breathe better, you’re likely to be scolded by some Karen.

If President Biden wants to motivate more Americans to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, he should “go on national TV, take his mask off and burn it,” Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., told “The Story” Wednesday.
“[Biden should] light a torch to it and burn his mask and say, ‘I’ve had the vaccine. I am now safe from this plague. If you’ll get the vaccine you can be safe too,’” Paul told host Martha MacCallum. “The burden of proof should be on the government to prove we’re spreading it. [If we are.] then we’ll listen to them. Instead it sounds like fear-mongering.”
Paul also continued his criticism of White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci for insisting that vaccinated Americans continue to wear masks to avoid inadvertently infecting vulnerable people.
“The science is about proving that things are happening,” he said. “If Dr. Fauci can prove that people who are vaccinated are spreading the disease, I will listen to him. If he can prove people like me, who have already had it [COVID-19], are spreading the disease, I’ll listen to him. But there is no evidence of that.”

I believe the worst is yet to come. All the money created out of thin air is going to send inflation through the roof killing all of us who recently retired and moved to fixed income. Maybe the Dems want us eating dog food so we will croak faster.

The reason we are getting to the end of lockdown is because Donald Trump pushed the Warp Speed initiative. Thank God it was him and not Hillary.

IMHO, all we need is a video of beachgoers on the beach here in FL pointing into a camera and laughing at those who are locked down, and it would end all lockdowns.
If you try to “flatten the curve” you just elongate the curve. I get that we didn’t want a million cases all rushing into hospitals within a two week period. But early on we didn’t know much about treatment or contagion or the Typhoid Mary types who are asymptomatic carriers.
Though I would be careful drawing any conclusions drawn between islands like Taiwan, Hawaii, Singapore, Australia etc to other countries that share borders and where people travel extensively and internally.
If we had an effective treatment, particularly an outpatient treatment, perhaps all of this could have been avoided. But the institutions didn’t really look very hard for one.
I’d like to see stacks of bureaucrats politicians and media filth in a burn pile a mile high. Every single one who did this needs to pay the price.
The Democrats need to pivot on this issue and convince the American idiots through a full court media press that opposition to lockdowns and mask wearing is racism and white supremacism. If you don’t comply, then you don’t believe that black lives matter.
