If Americans standard of living is dramatically reduced, how then can we afford products and services they offer for a profit. I don’t get it.

I don’t get it either. The only thing I can reconcile is the brainwashing that has been going on in our schools for nearly 40 years. When I returned to college, at the age of 46, I remember clearly a history professor who hated the United States of America. The vitriol she would spew. Unbelievable when this is the country that addresses its historical warts. It’s akin to mental illness.

I mean is this story proof that they donate to the Ds true? Do they donate to both parties? A lot of companies do. I’m not arguing but I wont buy on line unless it goes thru PP because it’s much easier, and they have always come thru if there is a problem. I am just sick to hear about this.

They are a former client of mine, plus there have been plently of articles over the years that extoll PayPal's corporate social responsibility, ethics, inclusion and diversity.
I have basically come to the conculusion you can't escape these things from major companies. So I prioritize what is most important to me. When it comes to online shopping, the number one thing is privacy. It's impossible to do since products are shipped to my home, but I can mask the financial transaction with prepaid debit or gift cards that do not require registration (just nameless activation). With that said, I have been trying to decrease my purchases (I don't need more stuff) and when I do buy something I try to buy from a local small business. I pay with cash. It's far from perfect, but better than nothing.
