More info I guess it turns out that the armed student was the one who was killed(By I assume the cop that was already on scene) and there was someone else who was detained..my guess the whole thing was gang related

Local News is reporting officer was shot and transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with injuries considered to be non-life-threatening.
This officer approached a student reportedly having a gun on campus. When approached the student fired at the officer, striking the officer, who then returned fire and fatally shot the gunman.
No other injuries were reported at this time by local authorities.
(No pics or descriptions of the dead perp???? hours later)
