In most states that is legal, under Romeo and Juliet laws. A middle aged man banging a minor, not so much.

The 17 year old is no longer 17 and decides to go public with accusations against Gaetz.
Remember when the Democrats brought out sluts to falsely accuse Brett M. Kavanaugh? They admitted they lied and no one was prosecuted.
Everything is speculation at this point. It looks bad, but we will see if they have enough case to prosecute. If not, hopefully Gaetz doesn’t take too much of a hit.
