I grew up in Anaheim....Could see the fireworks from are swimming pool slide....We had to go to D-Land multiple times with relatives...

We hated it.

That’s basically what I was saying in the above post. Though I’d say the 7-year Tribulation is right around the corner. They keep using the phrase the Bible said they would, when the Antichrist comes (he will confirm the covenant - and by peace shall destroy many).

Finally got my full copy of ‘1984’ yesterday. Hope I can find time this weekend to watch it (may happen next week).

I’ve already watched Two Minutes of Hate, Choco Rations and the scene where they enter through the window multiple times.

Disney does seem to have gotten one thing right about the future: Autopia. In the future we won't really need to steer our cars. We'll just let them take us to wherever they want us to go.

Last word we heard was only LA county residents could go to Disneyland when it opened. Currently it is planning to open only California residents.

No one-day tickets. Ticket prices, two day- one park $235, park hopper $290. 3 day “Magic Morning” eligible $310 single park and $365 park hopper. “Magic Morning” only available for 3 day or above passes. (Magic morning is entry before 10am). Park capacity limited to 25%. Attractions/restaurants/food limited availability with no implied guarantees. Subject to the park closing on short notice.

They COULD have produced a beautiful sort of retro animated spot celebrating the grand re-opening of Disneyland, maybe with Tinkerbell doing her thing with the wand lighting up the castle but NO ... They had to lead with ridiculous virtue-signaling. "Look! Everyone is wearing a mask! You won't pick up the 'Rona in the Magic Kingdom, kids!"
