You EMT people are incredible, and few appreciate what you go through and the lives you save. I have friends in your biz. The worst for them is they work in a rural area and often know the victims of accidents, etc.
No one has shown a report saying the motor was “blown” anywhere. That’s a made up story. The car ended up 70 feet from the motor according to a news report. Is that report accurate? Maybe, let’s say it is. The motor could have been knocked loose and the car ended up 70 feet away.
I’d call that a thousand times more likely than a coordinated rear-end collision/drone missile strike at highway speeds.
Who wants to be the guy driving the truck that did the rear-ending part? Sounds kind of risky!
There is no actual evidence for this far-fetched murder theory. None.
There no proof or evidence the motor was “blown” anywhere. The hood is still attached to the car, and shows only front end damage.
There’s no evidence the accident wasn’t just an accident.

I think they intended on taking out both the governor’s daughter and the boyfriend, they kind of screwed the pooch. Then the highway patrolman ends up committing suicide, come on man. As for how the deed was done may or may not have involved thermite, but that wasn’t the explosive. Getting rear ended by a truck is sufficient. The fact that Powell mentions thermite is not enough to discount all the other suspicious data around this story.
Imagine you are driving and a thermite charge detonates just under your seat between your legs. What are the odds you may crash into two other cars?
That is the most likely thing that happened in this case.

Well, you could hack the car and run the fuel pump to excess. This is documented to be in the CIA capabilities.

You set an explosion on a car on a highway and you are likely to cause a collision.
And yes, that is a way that people are murdered. No regular car crash causes what was left after that explosion.
I agree and great evaluation of the scene. If in deed the motor was 70 feet away then its odd a rear end accident removed the motor. I am not a active state licensed EMT any more, seems I don’t like the sight of injured children. Especially the ones that were claimed as a broken arm accident and it’s clear that it’s happened from a drunken parent but the child and parents won’t admit it.
