The two studies are not yet peer-reviewed.
D3 is cheap, widely available, and it's well known people don't get enough sunlight exposure in fall, winter and spring, especially north of 34 degrees latitude or people with dark complexions.
So I'll keep taking it.
They want you to embrace the jab. 😣
It’s SCIENCE!
This article wins my "convoluted prose" medal of the week.
I'll stick with my 5000 IU/day plus Vitamin K2 at least until I receive the vaccinations.
Somebody seems to be moving the goal posts again.
Vitamin D3 is a PREVENTATIVE supplement in my non-medical opinion, intended to strengthen your immune system so that you may not even know that you had the virus if you get infected with it after regularly taking D3.
In other words, if you start taking vitamin D3 after you get virus symptoms then you are arguably throwing your money away.
Big Pharma arguably follows the big virus money by pushing vaccines as opposed to pushing D3.
Flu cases ‘drop’ 95% compared to last year. Are patients being misdiagnosed as having COVID-19? (10.19.20)

The problem is this: as you noted, it’s well known people don’t get enough sunlight exposure in fall, winter and spring, but it’s also noted that since unhealthy people do not get as much exposure to the sun as do health people. Now, are people healthier because they get more Vitamin D or do healthier people naturally get more Vitamin D? In the case of CV, you’re playing the game of ‘you bet your life’.
Vit D3 does not meet the minimum cost requirement for the drug companies.
Desperate to keep the ATM on dispense. Got to make the big money before the deluge.
It may not improve outcomes but it likely lessens the odds of getting CCPV in the first place. When I got the symptoms way back in early last march I megadosed with D3 as per my MIL’s instruction for stoping flu and colds one has contracted and a few hours later it was all gone. D3 supps have kept me cold and flu free for 16 years with NO flu shots and a primary school teacher wife. She has avoided flu shots most years but hey were mandatory at school.
You mean the 500 cows I bought won’t help me with CoVid? May I sue the NIH? 😀
I was convinced LONG before this virus that an optimal blood vitamin D level was crucial for good health. Nothing, including this article, will change my mind on that.
I have taken between 5000 and 10000 IU each day for years, and don’t plan to stop.

The fact remains that vitamin D deficiency is exhibited in an overwhelming number of Covid-19 positive deaths.
Seems like an easy precaution to take.
Take K2 with D3.
