I still want to know what was offensive about "And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street".

Dr. Suess was a white male and proud American beloved by hundreds of millions. He must be destroyed.

I miss McElligot’s Pool. There was a Eskimo fish. Could we poll Eskimos? If a majority says, yes, that is deeply offensive, could that page be redrawn or removed? No, suppress the book!

Samizdat Seuss is what we need.

As a born again practicing Christian, I find the “do no harm” central to the struggle of a Christian. As part of my self-evaluation and recognition that I was a “sinner” and apart from God, I needed to identify where I fell short, which was in many areas. I also had to recognize that, even trying mightily as I could, I could never measure up - only one that was sinless could measure up to God’s standards.

In recognizing that I could never live the life on my own, Jesus Christ was my only hope: it is ONLY by the shed blood of Jesus Christ that one can be considered blameless by God.

Oddly, the standard that the radical left wants to saddle us with. . . “do no harm”, or essentially, “be perfect” . . . is a standard none of us can attain, no matter how hard we try.

Acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior offers a respite from a miserable life of self-shame for the simple reason that we KNOW within ourselves we do not measure up. It is through the perfection of Jesus Christ that we are measured to be pure.

So I reject the call of the radical left to “do no harm”. I will never ever intentionally hurt someone, but it is Christ and Christ alone that delivers me from a life of debilitating doubt, shame and guilt. I have already fought that battle. Jesus Christ propelled me past that wasteland of a life. I will NOT allow you leftists to drag me back to what I left behind.
