Reality: What will happen is what happened with the “autononous zone of Seattle.” Anarchy, theft, assaults, arson, killing. Politicians will bow down so far their noses will scrape the ground as they perform the act of submission.

My car’s nav system allows me to change settings to avoid toll roads, avoid ferries, etc. I think it would be pretty smart for nav companies to add a setting for “avoid Martin Luther King boulevards.”
Also, I loved a classmate of mine in college when he was corrected to not use the term "black" but instead "African AMerican". Big business can afford to close up shop in areas where it is dangerous to do business. Austin proper is a small concentration of liberalism surrounded by mostly conservative bedroom cities. In that sense it is like many larger population centers in many states. The comparative lazy leftists gather in population centers hoping to score a living from government largess (ie your taxes) while the real Americans industriously build there lives outside of the liberals cesspools.
