the Losers Bowl.
Nicky is saying ‘stick it up your ass America’. This country needs another dose of left leaning conservatism (aka RINO) to retake the White House.
Marc just can’t stop laughing
talking out of both sides of her mouth.
She is - or should be - politically dead. The campaign ads showing these statements side by side would be devastating.
It’s too bad for her - she had potential.
Kasich, Romney, and Hogan got votes? That is pitiful.
Go away Haley... you showed your true colors, and they are yellow.
She's in a picture with the guy who orchestrated SpyGate! While she worked for Trump. Her boss was targeted by this POS!
Also the comments she made after Jan 6th.
This woman is a fraud and a lying snake & she's not going to get near the WH because the Left will use her ineligibility against her. Stop apologizing for this clown.
Electing a RINO is not winning.
To late, you IGNORANT SLUT!
If you try to shove your head any further up PRESIDENT TRUMP’S ass you will suffocate!
MMMMM, I don’t think so!
You actually trusted a POST TURTLE and an injun HOOKER from Injuh?
In order to appeal to the NEOCONS (war mongers), she would be better off trying to SUCK START a B 52!
I have always told people “if you lie to me once, I have to consider everything out of your mouth a lie there after”.
She and McConnell - gutless, thankless judahs.
Especially after what Trump did for them. I can’t think of two Rats that I despise more.
I partially agree: Nikki Haley served at the UN very well, and she’s very intelligent. I remember seeing her do some press conferences as Governor (B4 the flag controversy, IIRC) and she did very nicely: Excellent command of details and policies (reminded me of Bill Clinton’s skills at being a policy wonk), sharp as a tack, confident...
However, her post election comments knocking PDJT were both disloyal and unnecessary / unwise: Haley is a diplomat and politician - she certainly did not have to volunteer anything, and if pressed by questioners, deflect to “Rudy who’s looked at this much more closely than I” or the issue of State Legislatures not being involved in rules changes.
Now we have this issue of the pic with Brennan, and Haley defends herself by saying she can’t control being on a panel with him and having a group picture of everyone all smiles? Granted she says (to paraphrase) that she promoted a pro-America agenda, but, that could mean almost anything. I’d be ok with her being on that panel if she said she went there to butt heads and repudiate dangerous ideas. Then give a link to the transcript to prove it. But, instead we are left with a picture of a happy little discussion when instead forcefulness, such as what Nikki demonstrated at the UN, is needed, both for its own self and for her relationship with the Republican base.
To me this demonstrates bad judgement added to other negatives, which is really too bad, because Gov. Haley does sometimes show a lot of potential.
I more or less did trust her. As for turtle, no trust really ever but I did think he had more sense than to slur pdjt needlessly like he’s been doing.
“I partially agree: Nikki Haley served at the UN very well, and she’s very intelligent. ... However, her post election comments knocking PDJT were both disloyal and unnecessary / unwise.”
Thank you, Paul R, for taking the time and trouble to explain reasonably. I agree with you on the essence of what you write even if I would be a wee bit more generous in some regards while calling her out more critically in others. For example, precisely because she had been restrained in her criticisms of PDJT up to that point (and up to this point she had really made no bones about being GOPe), the TIMING of her disloyalty was particularly self-serving, excruciating and mis-judged. As you point out, it was also unnecessary and unwise — two very good descriptors. PDJT really did play his hand poorly beyond mid-December, and so Jan 6 and beyond it was his hour of need.
For me, it was not what she said that troubled me most, because to repeat, PDJT played his hand poorly for a time and so she said nothing that was actually wrong. Even as she said these things, she came out against impeachment and criticized the left for their far more egregious behaviors. For me, it was the timing and the missed opportunity for her to stand by PDJT and the larger cause.
Soon this should be forgiven, and I think Donald Trump will soon forgive — publicly. With time, this can heal. It should not be forgotten and practically it may disqualify her from being any kind of frontrunner in 2024 or 2028 for the GOP nomination. And yet ... 2024 is a ways off and 2028 might as well be in the next century. She is talented, with a kind of Trumpian resolve and pugilistic streak. She fully subscribes to Trumpian policies across the board. She could be a great ally to Donald Trump and to the larger cause.
FReepers need to look closely. Her shortcomings are an entirely different kettle of fish than what we see with Romney and the RINOs. And her strengths are rather extraordinary.
