SPAWAR (now NIWC) demonstrated evidence of neutron generation in co-deposited Pd-D (palladium-deuterium) structures back in 2008. This was demonstrated using observations of "triple-track" pitting in CR-39 plastic sheeting on the surface of LENR cell cathodes. Their evidence was accepted for publication by at least one peer-reviewed journal (Naturwissenschaften), and has been replicated by others.

SPAWAR also observed infrared flashes on the cathode surface of their co-deposition cathode; this evidence has been cited in numerous YouTube videos.

The "co-dep" experiments are some of the most interesting ever done on LENR, and the results using this methodology have been duplicated in Japan and elsewhere.

If I were to give advice to anyone looking to start their college career in science or engineering, I would encourage them to go into this field.

I tried to interest my son but he’s going after Civil Engineering at UCLA instead. Not interested. Probably because it’s Dad saying it.

It’s like that scene in The Graduate where some family acquaintance says that the future is in ‘plastics’. They did a marvelous job making him look like a plastic, disingenuous character. It turns out, that woulda been excellent career advice.
