They're probably counting on a friendly judge who will allow them to claim "confidential business information" to shield them from all discovery requests but allow Dominion to go back 20 years on Mike's tax returns.
“GEMS vote-counting systems are and have been operated under five trade names: Global Election Systems, Diebold Election Systems, Premier Election Systems, Dominion Voting Systems, and Election Systems & Software, in addition to a number of private regional subcontractors. At the time of this writing, this system is used statewide in Alaska, Connecticut, Georgia, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Utah and Vermont, and for counties in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.”

Dominion must be feeling pretty cocky.
Dominion must be feeling pretty cocky.
Maybe they keep their hands in their pockets all day.
Lindell’s business is off the charts these days. He hiring in Minneapolis...full page ads..
This case will never go before a jury. The company is using the threat to force Lindell into a cancel culture alleyway. Americans will take great interest in this case. Hopefully state legislatures in those swing states will take action and more info surfaces.

That is a severe problem in a public election system.
Our court system is completely corrupt. Dominion will get the judge to shut down all attempts at discovery as a “fishing expedition” and not allowed.
Dominion has also sued Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell. Ms Powell at least is temperamentally inclined to fight I suspect. But if she made certain factual claims (I haven’t reviewed the lawsuit against her in depth) and it goes to trial, she will almost certainly lose. (That last I saw she was being represented by Lin Wood, which is unlikely to be helpful.)
Lots of people have made specific factual claims about Dominion that are likely to be easy to rebut. They are being represented by an elite DC law firm with lots of experience representing defamation plaintiffs.
Mike Lindell has, by sticking his neck out, antagonized a large chunk of his customer base and potential customer base. If the “Big Lie” is just that, then he has likely alienated more customers, and, not only that, distributors and sales outlets as well, than he would gain by supporting President Trump. How, then, are his actions a ploy to gain more business?
Which voting machine company do you work for?
“Do you think that Dominion have heard of “DISCOVERY”?”
They don’t care because all relevant data, emails, texts, etc have been destroyed by now so they can claim that their machines were never “programmed” to steal any elections.
“mike needs to file a countersuit for defamation and business harm for the same amount”
Double the amount.
Someone needs to find out more about Dominion and who runs it.
“Source code is probably proprietary information.”
How so? It’s a freaking oversized calculator.
You put in a stack of ballots in slot A
Push a button
Ballots run through machine, where said machine reads how many dots are filled in for candidate A, and how many are filled in for candidate B, and once complete spits out a tally of who had the most dots.... So easy even a caveman could do it.
It’s not rocket science, and we’re not talking about the latest iOS for a new iPhone either.
When are those guys going to go to jail for stealing the electi9n?
