Agreed. Many northerners (where I live) go to warm weather to avoid the hassles of snow and cold. I’m more concerned about what Sleepy Joe is doing rather than what Ted Cruz is doing.
Interesting how this isn’t blowing over as quickly as the Dem mayors, etc. who told their constituents to shelter-in-place while they flew off to nicer places to party...

Yup. This story is to cover the weekend news cycle to prevent anyone talking about Cuomo killing 15,000 elderly thru his deliberate mismanagement and his obsession with destroying Trump, to avoid giving him an iota of credit (ex. unused 1,000 bed Nay hospital ship).
Most Texans are free to choose their electric company. Companies compete by offering various plans. I chose a fixed rate plan for 36 months.
If someone chose a variable rate plan because the normal wholesale price is below my fixed rate plan, that is on them. Freedom to choose means freedom to choose poorly.

Probably because Cruz made such a big thing of criticizing those mayors and Cruz had been telling people to stay home and shelter in place two days before he left for Cancun. The media loves hypocrisy, especially on the part of Republicans.
I just got locked in for another year, right before this hit. But eventually everyone will have to renew and it’s going to be nothing like before.

Same here (though I'm retired in Florida now). Some of the comments here bashing Cruz sound like either lefty seminar posters or those who think the only good conservative is one as "pure" as they themselves are.
They are falling for the lefty media line about Cruz. Don't let them! Fight back against the left media (the only one we have, besides FR)...
