I used to listen to local news on the radio during my relatively short commute, specifically for traffic and weather; I gave up when every little weather inconvenience would be followed up with some stupid comment about Trump’s views on the Paris climate agreement or something similarly meaningless.

There simply is no real “mainstream” news anymore; we live in the USSR at this point. The website for our largest newspaper in NJ shut down the comments early in 2020 in anticipation of the election; those comments always provided the real stories (often from eyewitnesses or people near the story) that countered the company line. Now the paper/website are begging for subscriptions, but they’ll get no takers.

All this matters because it inherently matters if the media is recklessly circulating falsehoods about the most inflammatory and significant news stories. As was true for their series of Russiagate debacles, even if each “mistake” standing alone can be dismissed as relatively insignificant or understandable, when they pile up — always in the same narrative direction — people rightly conclude the propaganda is deliberate and trust in journalism erodes further.

If this weren't one of the 45 Communist Goals from 1963 (Except from "The Naked Communist by Cleon Skousen) it damn well should have been, and likely, is.

I would word Goal 46 as follows:

COMMUNIST GOAL 46: Ensure all things are viewed relatively including news and history. Force every viewpoint to be accepted as equally valid. Make people distrust and disagree on everything.

I take a bit of gentle issue with the way you worded your post which to my ear, insinuated a moral equivalency in disparity of views between Left and Right.

The Left is based on lies and deception.

Period.

It is why, when they had power, they had to resort to the rulings of activist judiciary, and executive fiat to accomplish their goals. There is no broad mandate or support for the things they wish to accomplish, so they must conceal their goals and motives and pursue them via extra-legislative means.

And it is why, when they have power now, that they resort to executive fiat (Executive Orders) to attempt to accomplish what they cannot do in the framework of the Constitution. (focus on Executive orders, not the Memos and Proclamations)

Lest you think I am simply blindly taking one side because I happen to be on the Right, let me give you just one example for comparative purposes: Election Fraud.

I believe with documentation and rational analysis that the Left believes in rigging elections and engaging in outright election fraud. This is not just my "feeling". One party in America wishes to undermine the security and fairness of elections, and the other party wishes to increase the security and fairness of elections. In this exercise, I do a comparative analysis and let any rational and open-minded person make an obvious conclusion:

THE LEFTIST APPROACH TO THE AMERICAN VOTING PROCESS

Support Ballot Harvesting


• Support Ranked Voting
  
  
• Support Compacts between states to give their electoral votes to whoever wins the national popular vote
  
  
• Support Efforts to persuade electors in the Electoral College to swing votes depending on what the Left desires, not the voters in the state.
  
  
• Support Efforts to outright remove the Electoral College and implement a national popular vote.
  
  
• Support Relaxation of absentee ballot provisions
  
  
• Support Extension of both absentee ballot and in-person voting time frames, opening the voting process up as much, and as long as possible to increase the odds of successful voter fraud
  
  
• Consistently degrade, attack, ignore, and openly bypass ballot signature requirements.
  
  
• Support Motor Voter Registration
  
  
• Opposition to Voter ID laws
  
  
• Opposition to maintenance of voter rolls to remove dead people and people who have left that area.
  
  
• Engages in Outright voter fraud. In the 2020 election it was widespread, coordinated, and part of the core Leftist approach to the electoral process.

THE CONSERVATIVE APPROACH TO THE AMERICAN VOTING PROCESS

• Oppose Ballot Harvesting

• Conservatives do not engage in Outright voter fraud. There may be singular examples, but it is not organized, part and parcel of the conservative movement. As the 2020 election has shown, this is the sole domain of the Left.

This comparison between Leftists and Conservatives is ONE example. Just one. I could apply this to everything from Crime and Punishment to Immigration to Race Relations, to Economics. The point is, any rational person can put these things down on paper in columns and do a comparison to understand there is no equivalence, no moral equivalence, and no equivalence in outcomes that affect this nation. I take it a step further, in that I believe the Left does not engage in these polar-opposite actions because they think they help America and its principles, they engage in them because they hate America and its principles and wish it ill.
