Every now and then, a politician with a wealthy wife needs to remember the vast majority of the people in his state haven't got the financial means to escape frigid temperatures without heat.
If this was all for the kids ... Cruz could have sent them with the Mrs. to her family's or his family's heated home. A trip to the sands of Cancun was over the top.
Now, if Cruz thinks this is his right, well, good for him. All he needs to do is find a career that will agree.
