Mattis and Milley and all officers from Colonel upwards are appointed to their commands, so they spout whatever their puppet masters want them to say. Screw the lot of them.
The British imported slaves, we didn’t. That a few Americans continued to do so after Independence is on them. No one in my family lineage was a part of it, so “F” off.

Why are only black Americans the only blacks (or any race of enslved people) NOT able to recover from slavery? We have slavery in Africa, India, China, and the middle east. not a peep. Hitler enslaved millions of Jews and any untold numbers of people in conquered lands. Yet it is still here we must continually self flagellate for the sins of people who are long dead that barely anyone has any relation with. And why no appreciation that it was the western powers that ended slavery? It wasn’t the Africans, it wasn’t the Arabs, it was white Europeans. Or maybe it’s all just about money and power....
I see something more worrying. What are a bunch of top brass doing lamenting politics and being heralded as some kind of great political thinkers. Juxtapose that with a standing army in DC. What’s next with their bag of tricks?
