Back in the early 1970s there was a move to have western Nebraska secede and become part of Wyoming, which went nowhere.

How ‘bout we invite Alberta to leave liberal Canada and become a US state?
Maybe Saskatch too.

Or as I tease my wife, who is from Wyoming, “one of them square states.”

Also, would the Wyoming DOT want two more segments of I-25 to maintain?

And then the combined populations could elect Stacy Abrams as mayor.

I tease my wife, who is from Wyoming, “one of them square states.” "Back in the 1940s Eric Servareid said North Dakota was a large rectangular blank spot in the nation's consciousness...."
Don't fergit about the wrecked tangles!
Not for no reason do the car tags in South Dakota read "We're 50th in Everything!"

Do you mean 85? Because I-25 doesn't run through Weld...
To: GardenerForLife
Gewgle maps has Weld County’s territory covering 2 segments of I-25, one just south of Wyoming, and the other one just north of the Denver Metro.

If we could get El Paso County out from under the boot heel of Denver/Boulder/Fort Collins... We have a lot of military here (multiple bases), tech workers, and then the east end of the County is ranches. Too bad the worst parts of Colorado are between us and Wyoming.

Oh, yea, I didn’t realize it I-25 clips the edges of Weld. I have to drive 15 miles to get to I 25 and cross into Larimer.
But Wyoming would pickup Greeley and Windsor. Not to mention all the small towns on the I-85 corridor. That’s some serious tax income right there.
One thing though, I wouldn’t be able to make fun of Wyoming drivers any more.
To: real saxophonist
I don’t suppose Wyoming would be interested in Larimer county too?
