We were saying the same thing back in 1977. If I bought a truck would there be fuel for it in two years? We were even figuring how to make them run on alternate fuels like moonshine or producer gas(wood smoke).
One of our mechanics converted his V-8 truck to use a two cylinder diesel tractor engine. Great mileage at a very low speed. Put-put-put.

Agreed. If the economies of NM & Colorado take a big hit, they deserve it. Unfortunately, the ones hardest hit will be people who probably voted for Trump. And all of us better get used to our gas prices doubling!
