I really think half of the talk of security for the inaugural is meant to deflect from the fact that Biden cannot function like a normal president. His attempts to hit the campaign trail failed miserably and once the pandemic struck it provided an excuse for him to shelter in place in the basement. When he ventured outside, he seldom travelled more than hour’s drive from his house.
