Painting right wing graffiti over left wing graffiti ("mural") is a hate crime? It wasn't me, but I do hate lifelong communists. Reminds me of the "crime" of painting over the Black Lives Matter graffiti ("mural") that was painted on the street in front of the Trump Tower in New York City, just to annoy Trump.

If the mural was graffiti, then painting more graffiti over it is not a crime. If the mural was property, then painting graffiti over it is a crime. Calling it a “hate crime” is just dumb.
If the justice system in America is not able to equally administer justice, then we have no justice. If some crimes are worse than others, simply because of the supposed victim of the crimes, then justice is not equal.

Cops were called to the site Saturday by one of the artists involved who felt the vandalism might be “motivated by hate or bias of political or religious affiliation,” a police report obtained by The Post shows.Since when are acts motivated by political differences considered "hate crimes?!"
Would tearing down a swastika-emblazoned flag count as a "hate crime?!"
