It would be most illustrative to know two things about that “Purity Test”:

1.) Who suggested and implemented it

2.) What is the actual wording of the test

Less than 700 were involved in the incursion into the Capitol. Trump had 70 million votes. If my math is correct that works out to 1/100,000 voters. To visualize that. The largest NFL hold about 100,000. So 1 voter from a full stadium participated. It would take 700 full stadiums to hold all 70 million voters.

Too extreme even for CNN. Steve Cohen represents a majority black district so he must think he has to carry on like this or be defeated in a primary by a black challenger.

I wonder about the 20% figure--did he just make that up? It might be true for Tennessee but probably not for the country as a whole.
